Baby steps

First of all, you better turn around and never look back if you expect to see and are only interested of following things: -bankroll management -long term grinding -steady updates and stats -learning to be better player But if you enjoy ultimate rec poker from freerolls to highest stakes and/or other gaming you might find some interesting to read from time to time. Naturally, blog competition lured me in (thou it will be sad day for poker blogging if this makes it to top 3 🤣 ) but more importantly i find it interesting, and amusing, to read my own doings after some time as they tend to forget so soon. Start balance as we stand is 0 at all levels, i'll probly wait if bug reports/centroll bring something to start with this week and go from there... Which brings us to lesson number 1; get the value from where it's at. For example daily freerolls are full of players trying to win cent tickets when they could easily skip many levels of grinding simply with detecting bugs while playing and reporting them here. They are not so hard to find, without looking yet still keeping eyes open you can easily spot one from time to time just with playing or using sections of client. Ofc better for rest of us that peeps just don't bother or know to report 😄 Anyhow, like title says, no long term plans or goals but taking it day by day with baby steps. Ofc wouldn't mind if it developes to something greater but honestly that is just wishful thinking for now.

Stubbe's Bundesliga Corner

It all started back in the 2000/2001 season, when the Danish forward Ebbe Sand had a fantastic season at Schalke 04. My interest was aroused; I read a lot about Schalke and the Bundesliga, and I started watching a lot of games as well. It didn't take long, before I was hooked - I had become a Bundesliga junkie. In the years to come, I'd spend countless hours in front of the tv and computer, watching and analyzing games, reading Bundesliga news etc. The number of Schalke matches I've missed in the last 2 years, can be counted on one hand, and I've obviously been to Gelsenkirchen a few times as well. About 5-6 years ago I started betting on the Bundesliga. I got off to a less than optimal start, but I learned a lot and my game slowly improved. A few years later I had my own Bundesliga betting blog with a ROI of +10, and I was also a Bundesliga expert at the largest Danish betting community for a short while. When I started working for Unibet, I didn't feel like I had the time to bet seriously anymore, and for almost a year, I didn't place a single bet. Today I'm only betting for the entertainment, but I like to believe, that I've still got the ability to spot a bet with value. I'm going to challenge myself, and will post a few Bundesliga bets every week, with the goal of creating a small profit. I'll keep score of the bets in this post. As there's quite a long time till the next Bundesliga game, I'll temporarily be using this thread to share my view on transfers, season bets and anything Bundesliga, that I find interesting. EDIT: now that we've got the new emoticons implemented, I'll start using a money bag scale to indicate the value. This info will be added to the heading of each bet. :cash: = 100-103.9 BV
:cash::cash: = 104-106.9 BV
:cash::cash::cash: = 107-109.9 BV
:cash::cash::cash::cash:= 110-112.9
:cash::cash::cash::cash::cash: = >112.9
An Excel sheet with all bets can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/03gzxjg595t8ybd/Bundesliga_Corner_Stubbe.xlsx?dl=0

Bundesliga Fantasy

A new exciting Bundesliga season will kick off on August 13th, and so does the official Fantasy Game and with it, a private league for all Community members. Posting this quite early this time because our multiple ( every time ) champion @WuDu is understandably already getting a little nervous and afraid of the fierce competition he will be facing this time. Let's give him a good run for his money 🥵   Everyone that competed last season are automatically included on the new league. Here is the invitation code for new players: https://fantasy.bundesliga.com/invitations/league_invite/ce347d7995cbe9b2f9f2e5e43bae5920   This time I also put up a private league to the Predictor game. This is still showing old matches but should be updated at some point. Code: https://predictor.bundesliga.com/my-leagues/join/ChJo8B31   Please pick a team name that's somehow related to your community alias. Or at least let us know on this thread who you are. This also goes for all the old participants with unrecognizable team names 👍 I'll bump this post a couple times closer to the first matchday 🙂

rng is different level here isnt it

I guess its another 1 of those days, hopefully session improves!  It would be interesting to compare 3 or 4 million hands here vs other sites but you wont let customers export their hand histories

Fourteen Years Of Heartache In The Microverse, Is The End In Sight?

At times it feels much longer but it is in fact 14 years since I started playing online poker. You'd think 14 years doing something would make anyone recognisable as a cut above the newbies, or fish, or recs, whatever's politically correct to call the newcomers these days, but sadly in my case time has not been so kind. Yes there have been some improvements, I actually call myself a winning player these days, albeit at a very small rate and amongst the lowest stakes it's possible to play at, but winning is winning. I've been a little over 6 years on Unibet, I never tracked my stats, deposited when losing and withdrew when winning, and although the figures are somewhat skewed to a small sample of mainly tournament wins, statistics don't lie, do they?     A Little Housekeeping.   2024-04-01 15-11-08.mp4      The frustrating thing today, there always seems to be one, is that though I had the best intentions I'm already falling behind my schedule, loose and fluid though it is. I've not played a hand of poker today but I was playing for an unusually long time yesterday, (thin brag incoming) in the farewell to Ukranians and Bulgarians tourneys, one of which, the UAT version, I won, and cashing in the other, (brag over.) I've also started picking a few horses out here and there, posting them on YouTube, definitely NOT tipping them. That's it for now, updates as and when but hopefully regularly, and good luck all at the tables.    Small update:  Of course my number of hands played isn't for the full 6 years, only since the Game Lab came in, still a very small amount though.

Sitting abuse - nl400 - please change something

Hi I will try my best to explain the issue shortly and clearly, also I will leave some examples at the end. Unibet reps, please pay attention, English is not my first language and I might miss some info (which I think are obvious or not) but I am here for any further questions.   For quite some time there are situations when table is not full and the certain player(s)LEAVES AND INSTANT REJOINS THE SAME TABLE JUST FOR THE PURPOSE TO (HOPEFULLY) CHANGE THE SEAT AND GET A POSITION OVER FISH. Im not sure how the algorithm works but its definitely possible to change your seat sometimes. it is done usually in the late night/early morning (probably not just then) when there are not so many players and tables are not full. it is done MAINLY BY ONE REG, he plays nl200 and nl400, he is literally using every possible situation to gain any edge. I strongly  believe that the sitting algorithm has to change, "if a player leaves a table and rejoins the same table in next 10 minutes he is seated at the same seat, unless the seat is taken", I am hoping it should be a simple matter of coding 🙂 Also, I would like to get your attention to one more thing, while this "seat changing" is done but not only then, this player (who is trying to change his seat) and also some other regs, are changing their nicknames, rejoining the same table with different name. I personally as a long time reg do not mind it that much, but I think its not fair. Its not fair to the regs who are battling without a fish and especially its not fair to the fish (the semi anonymity is great and is about to protect the weaker players long term but in this case is hurting them short term). I know that no system is perfect, but maybe you can think about the new "change/rule" which forbids to join the same table with the different nickname 5-10 minutes after you left?
  I will try to show it with examples, all hands are from last 2 days and its the same player who is doing the abuse. Sorry if the quality of photos/videos is not the best. - https://gyazo.com/d0f27d92de1ece1c8c062707d202062b first row one table "takoijmaloj" rejoins as "kiskl3" to gain position over a weaker player "jasonfcinter" who left few hands after (he is not an idiot). second row another table ”kiskl3" rejoins as "karpatskij" to gain position over "RickGrimes79" if you wish I can give you hand numbers where fish looses his stack and straight after that this guy of course leaves on his next bb. Predatory as it could be. - https://gyazo.com/dbf786372cfa18b4d5d27e1086ee1551 "pol1sh" rejoins to gain position over "MrJackpot" - https://gyazo.com/c47006704a58401649dfc4c60928c59e "pol1sh" rejoins as "sawrskij" to gain position over "MrJackpot" unsuccessfully, just during that another player "Vinroeden" joined - https://gyazo.com/4e279c7d1b2884bcec4034c523c64fe6 https://gyazo.com/bf5a70218498672b6a6045f79fb17655 this one I didnt catch clearly, "jabonRigged" is a strange player, weaker and tired semi reg probably who was leaving the table often and coming back, but the moment there was an empty seat in position on the fish "MrJackpot", "sawrskij" was on the mission to try to get it. - https://gyazo.com/524f55c3fe80fd3f979db8df99cca6c1 https://gyazo.com/fec433c29feea43d40da762f972d215f https://gyazo.com/d8a9ab7c68926805a125e0f3ca10418c this one is difficult for the eyes, before the videos start "jabonRigged" left the table and opened the seat in position on fish "MrJackpot", 1/3 "skater3" is seen only rejoining here ("skater3" is the same player as "sawrskij", "pol1sh" who played the same table) unsuccessfully to change the seats. 2/3 "skater3" rejoining for the second time IN JUST FEW HANDS successfully changing the seat, "jabonRigged" also came back and lost the good seat. 3/3 WATCH CAREFULLY, this is 1/3 and 2/3 together, in the beginning I played the hand live play by play so its possible to see his first attempt to change the seat (I have 58s), later I skipped 2 hands when he in the meantime managed to change his seat, pause towards the end of the video or see the 2/3 gyazo. He literally rejoined the table 2 times in 3 hands!   These are just some hands, often you dont even notice an attempt to change the seat, pay attention how much hunted "MrJackpot" was the entire time. This is unfortunately the natural environment lately on nl200-400 games when tables are not full and this player is around, who btw plays a lot and for a long time on Unibet! Unibet guys we need some little changes when it comes to sitting algorithm, can you please do something?
More people are starting to do the same thing (not heavily like this guy) and I am afraid it can have a strong negative effect on fishes and also on Unibet in general (Unibet is still great, without a doubt).   Thank you all for reading
